Hello everyone! I am Musrat from Pakistan. I earned my master's degree in Business Administration from the prestigious Beijing University of Chemical Technology, People's Republic of China, and I will relate my experiences at the university and in Beijing. When I was accepted for the BUCT, I was ecstatic and thrilled since it would be a new experience for me to study overseas and get a degree. I got my admission offer letter in July 2018, and it said that I must report to BUCT in September 2018 for the following enrolment period. The anticipation of visiting BUCT kept me impatient for two months, till the day finally arrived for me to travel from Pakistan to China.
When I arrived at Beijing International Airport, I was astonished by the high-quality infrastructure. The staff at the immigration desk were quite helpful. After immigration, I got a taxi and requested that he drop me off at BUCT. When I stepped out of the taxi and saw BUCT for the first time, I was astounded by its magnificent structure. There are three beautiful campuses at BUCT. I went to school in the Chaoyang district campus, which is in the heart of Beijing. Throughout my stay at this institution, the Chaoyang campus has provided me with an exceptional, state-of-the-art campus and facilities for study and recreation, as well as an ideal connection for study and pleasure. The university campus provides a welcoming environment and high-quality facilities for the wonderful courses it offers. The Chaoyang campus environment is very clean, and the university's amenities were beyond anything I've ever seen, including a library, internet café, stores, an outdoor gym, and a running track. Students are able to concentrate on their studies due to the library's abundance of academic materials and its pleasant, tranquil atmosphere. Moreover, there were many canteens for students and staff, and the food was very fresh, inexpensive, and varied.
The most crucial aspect that drew me to this university campus was the dedication of the School of Economics and Management and Chinese language and culture faculty. Initially, I did not know how to speak Chinese, and it was difficult for me to communicate with Chinese people, particularly at grocery shops. But with the help of a highly qualified Chinese language instructor and my commitment to learning the language, I was able to communicate with the locals without difficulty and make friends. Due to China's extensive past, I have also learnt a great deal about its rich culture. The economics and management department's instructors were likewise empathetic, vivacious, and energetic. I have learnt a great deal through their lectures and oversight. Students in engineering, science, and management have access to well-equipped laboratories on the Chaoyang campus, and we were able to conduct all of our experiments without hindrance by assuring the safety of the laboratory and the other students. As a master's student who was required to do research on my subject, both my supervisor, Professor Wu Jun, and my lab mates were quite helpful. I've learnt a great deal from them, and it's been a joy and a privilege to work with such a kind team. It was really difficult for me to leave the institution and my lab team when I graduated in June of 2021. However, we must proceed to make this world prettier and to serve humanity. I would suggest the BUCT to anybody interested in furthering their education since I really loved my time there. The campus is lovely, and the amenities are top-notch. Thank you very much.
