On April 9, QS China Summit 2026 was grandly held in Shenzhen, China. The School of Economics and Management, Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) was invited to attend the summit, where it officially received the QS Stars 5-Star Rating.

The three professional postgraduate programs of the SEM successfully passed the QS Stars evaluation and were awarded the QS Stars 5-Star Rating in 2025. At this summit, the SEM was invited to the official award ceremony hosted by QS to receive the formal award plaque, marking further official recognition of the School's enhanced level of international education. 

During the summit, representative of the SEM took part in the forum entitled “Quality Assurance in a Changing Higher Education Landscape”. The forum focused on the development and improvement of higher education quality assurance systems amid digital transformation and internationalization. They had in-depth exchanges and discussions from Chinese and overseas universities and educational institutions on key topics, including tools and standards for upholding academic integrity, maintaining educational quality under diversified school-running models, and quality coordination in the interconnection of global higher education institutions. 

This attendance at the summit is an important opportunity for the our school to deepen quality development and expand international cooperation. The SEM will continue to uphold the philosophy of internationalized education, strengthen quality awareness, deepen international exchanges and cooperation, and continuously improve its educational standards and global competitiveness.
