On the morning of April 13, 2026, a cooperation meeting between Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) and the University of Nottingham, UK, was held in Room 505 of the Library at BUCT’s Chaoyang Campus. Program directors from relevant fields of the two universities attended the meeting to discuss plans for future cooperation.

At the meeting, representatives from both sides introduced their respective universities'educational characteristics, disciplinary strengths and international development strategies, fully demonstrating their achievements and future plans in various fields. Beijing University of Chemical Technology highlighted its disciplinary ecosystem that closely integrates theoretical research with practical application across multiple disciplines. The University of Nottingham, UK, shared its cutting-edge research philosophy, strong disciplinary capabilities and extensive global resources.


Subsequently, the two universities conducted in-depth discussions focusing on key disciplinary areas including management, economics and information science, covering such key cooperation directions as joint talent cultivation models, student exchange programs and academic resource sharing. The two universities agreed that they enjoy a high degree of disciplinary alignment and strong complementarity, with broad prospects for cooperation in multiple areas and a solid foundation for comprehensive and in-depth collaboration.

The two universities agreed to take this meeting as an opportunity to further strengthen communication and coordination. They will expand their international education platforms, support the disciplinary development and high-quality growth of both institution.
