The Yanhe Forum series of academic lectures was successfully held at the Wenli Building on May 25. The event invited two distinguished experts from the Business School of the University of Nottingham, Professor Ken Kamoche and Associate Professor Wang Jinmin, to deliver research workshops.

Professor Ken Kamoche gave a presentation entitled Publishing qualitative research in top journals. Combining his personal academic research experience and a wealth of vivid research cases, he shared how his research interests took shape and how he conducted in-depth research on academic topics, providing valuable references for teachers and students to broaden their research thinking. Addressing common misunderstandings in qualitative research among university researchers, he elaborated on the core criteria and writing logic of qualitative research for top-tier academic journals.

Dr. Wang Jinmin delivered a lecture titled Scaling up into a niche leader, offering an in-depth interpretation of corporate business model innovation and development paths for niche sectors. Based on the development characteristics of emerging markets and the actual industrial development conditions, as well as his long-term research on emerging market enterprises and industrial clusters and his practical experience in serving international institutions, he systematically illustrated the core paths and underlying logic for enterprises to achieve iterative upgrading and grow into benchmark enterprises in niche fields through continuous business model innovation.

The successful holding of the foreign expert lecture series of the Yanhe Forum has effectively built a high-quality platform for academic exchanges and promoted the  integration of international academic resources with on-campus teaching and scientific research. It plays a significant role in advancing the academic and scientific research innovation of teachers and students in the school.
